You've Got Mail
...but at what cost?

Email’s State Of Affairs
It’s a love hate relationship… but email has become THE defacto communication medium for just about everything in business. We live, love and die by our email.
It’s probably both fortunate and convenient for the vast majority of the users, that you are spared exposure to the war going on in the backrooms of email providers. Spam, viruses, server hammering, phishing, social hacking…
While unending and virtually flawless and faultless service provision is expected and taken for granted… the required resources and manpower required to feed the machine has risen drastically. Be without your email for even an hour, and your world comes to a standstill… or so we’ve been told.
The expectations and pressures have driven many large Internet Providers to make the easier choice… PASS! In the case of many local Internet Providers and hosting companies like GoDaddy, they’ve abdicated… and contracted out to providers like Microsoft. For them, it’s a win-win. Drop the service responsibilities and pressures, dump the expense of provision, and collect a nice little commission at the same time for much higher priced email accounts and add ons.
Sure, that first year is free… but ohhhh…. Wait till renewal time.
For you the user, it means what was once unlimited and included, is now commanding a much heftier fee. Service is far less personal when you have issues, and filtering decisions are made FOR you… and you're not part of the decision.
In other cases (Host Gator comes to mind for one)… you are now limited to POP email. That means the provider no longer has to spend money on server space to store your email… because POP removes it as soon as you retrieve it. Multi device syncing no more.
IN all fairness… yes… email has grown to be considerably more costly to provide, and to expect business level services for pennies per month, is simply no longer feasible (if it ever was). But whoa… those renewal invoices after that free year can really put a hit on the wallet.
At COOLCOM, we’ve thrown down the gauntlet and taken on the challenge. Yes you still can have personal level email service at your own domain and at a reasonable price, done for you spam filtering advice and implementation on a personal level, real answers to your questions (not binder responses), and 24/7 monitored servers.
Need archiving? We can provide. Need daily backups? We can provide. Need answers to “where’d that email go?” We can provide.
Coming Thursday… an unbeatable offer on how to get back to personally supported and managed business email services, save money, and even get all your mail and folders moved painlessly and seamlessly.
